Is wrestling fake?

What are your thoughts on wrestling? Do you think its fake?

I dont think its fake in way wrestlers dont touch each others body, but I honestly say that many corrections are done to their body inorder to avert and dangers like removing their nose bridge and so on

i really dont think its fake i mean how would u fake a jump landing on the ribs of ur opponent?

most of its fake. there trained to be able to do it and know whats going to happen most of the time. Its fake mostly but not always. Thats why it comes under entertainment not a sport

I am the kind that think some of it is fake, but that doesn't mean it is easy, the people have to be very athlete, and to synchronize with others actions and react accordingly is not something easy to achieve. There's some show to get big reaction from the masses but I want to think that some of it is still a real match. It is just, the higher position it is, the more the busine$$ factor interfering. But that's just my own assumptions.

I fully agree, every sport have a financial aim behind it, so does wrestling! As Roco said, they are doing minor corrective injuries, and are trained to bain the pain and be hard! After all, they do it for the people entertainment

The Question some people ask me when they talk of wrestling is "Are people who enjoy wrestling cruel?". What do you think of this?

I watch wrestling myself alot and to be honest I feel that some of it is fake whereas some of it is not which is where the whole years of training come into play for example the jumps off the ropes, they are always going to hit but depending on how they land and how the opponent reacts when the other lands will depend on how serious it can be. Alot of the time some moves go wrong and wrestlers do end up seriously injured which incurs time out for them.

Ofcourse some moves or actions are faked. But no one can fake a landing on the mat. The mat is build out of multiple layers or wood wich ofcourse doesnt move an whole lot when u drop on it.
